The aim of this project is to promote social inclusion and civic engagement of young people (14-29), through artistic and cultural tools, especially those with different disadvantages.

The RECAP project (Recovering inclusion through creativity after the pandemic) is an international project, in which we work together with 9 other partners from European countries (France, Spain, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal).

In the last two years, the pandemic has had a major impact on community life by isolating people, especially affecting young people. Through this project, we aim to activate civic involvement and participation, through non-formal education activities, art and cultural tools, with a focus on young people who have fewer opportunities (NEETs, migrants/refugees, minorities, young people from the LGBTQIA+ community, girls).

The project has two main objectives:

  • Improving the quality of the work of the youth sector, by creating & providing the necessary tools for youth workers active in artistic and cultural areas;
  • Empowering young people by guiding them to use their creativity.
